Overseas Learning Experience (OLE)
The Overseas Learning Experience (OLE) is a signature programme under the Active Citizenship Education (ACE) programme. OLE plays a pivotal role in fostering SST students to become global citizens who see the world as an interconnected set of systems; who seek to interact with and learn from people from diverse cultural backgrounds; who possess the attributes that will allow them to take advantage of the myriad of opportunities abroad; who develops respect and empathy for those whom they share the planet with and who are willing to take action to contribute to a just and sustainable world.
Learning Objectives
At the end of four years, students will be able to develop themselves in the following areas:
Head
- To develop students’ understanding that we are part of a global system where communities are interdependent (ASEAN and beyond).
- To expose students’ to a range of local and global issues.
- To develop students’ understanding of factors that shape cultures.
Heart

To develop students’ personal effectiveness (self-awareness, self-management and responsible decision making).

Hands
