Year 1 Admission
SST admits all our Secondary 1 students into the Express Stream through the MOE Direct School Admission Secondary (MOE DSA-Sec) exercise; it does not participate in the MOE Secondary One Posting Exercise. Student applicants who are successfully posted through the DSA-Sec exercise will not participate in the MOE Secondary One Posting Exercise.
Parents and students are encouraged to choose schools wisely based on the student’s aptitudes and strengths, bearing in mind the schools’ academic and non-academic requirements, and the programmes available to develop their area of talent.

SST Phase 1 Written Test
The SST Phase 1 written test assesses students’ ability to solve real world problems through the application of STEM knowledge and skills. All applicants will be informed on the date and timing to sit for the SST Phase 1 Written Test by 21 June via email.
More details regarding the SST phase 1 written test will be released after May.
SST Selection Camp
Only shortlisted candidates will be informed and invited to participate in the Selection Camp in Phase 2 of the application process to SST. The Selection Camp, which takes place on July and August 2018, is a half-day event where students will be assessed on their suitability to benefit from the learning environment of SST. Shortlisted candidates are only required to attend one of the sessions.
Release of DSA-Sec Application Outcome
A Letter of Outcome will be issued (via email) to all applicants at the end of the DSA-Sec Exercise. Successful applicants subsequently posted to SST through the DSA-Sec Exercise are expected to honour their commitments made and will be excluded from participating in the MOE Secondary 1 Posting Exercise. Students posted through the DSA-Sec Exercise are also not permitted to transfer to another school after the release of the PSLE results.
Parents are strongly encouraged not to call the school to check on the outcome of their child’s DSA Application.
Local applicants must be currently studying in mainstream primary schools and will be taking their PSLE this year. Non-local applicants must be currently in or have completed Primary Six or equivalent education. Also, all applicants should not be older than 15 years of age as of 1 Jan 2020.
Applicants who do not study in mainstream primary school in Singapore are required to obtain a Registration Number (REG) from MOE Customer Service Centre before applying for SST DSA-Sec Exercise.
