The Football Team was formed in January 2010 with the objective of injecting fun, exposure and awareness of the sport to our students. A group of about 20 enthusiasts signed up for the sport and this soon grew to 30 with the addition of the new members in 2011.

The team participated in the Annual Inter-School West Zone Soccer Competition 2011 and showed great determination in giving their best as they worked tirelessly for one another. They competed against seasoned campaigners like Hong Kah Secondary School and Greenridge Secondary School, and displayed great team spirit throughout the entire competition. The competition also displayed potential leaders among the players, showing that responsibility and discipline is needed to succeed in sports and games.

Trainings are conducted every Monday and Friday from 3.30pm to 5.30pm and holiday trainings are also put in place to ensure that the team continues to improve their techniques and hone their skills on a regular basis. The boys have shown great determination to succeed and have grown and bonded as a team over the past two years.

We would like to thank Mr Yao Peikang, the team’s coach, as well as the teachers-in-charge for their constant guidance and support to the team. We certainly look forward to welcome more potential David Beckhams and Ronaldos to the squad in the coming year!
