Lab Executive, Media
Job Description:
- Responsible for Inventory and safekeeping of Media Studies related and video/media equipment
- Handle simple maintenance of video cameras, all Media Studies related equipment and related peripheral devices
- Management of video content (pre and post edited footage), Media Studio, related audio recording devices, Media conversion (eg. RAW to HD, HD to SD, DVI to Mpeg, etc) and Archival of media content (RAW and edited)
- Involved in loan processing of Media Studies related equipment (eg. video equipment) to students and Helpdesk support for Mac related problems
- Provide software support for video and audio editing software eg. Apple iMovie, Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, HD Suite, Wave Editor, DJ Mixer Pro, Audacity,
- Maintenance and safekeeping of Media Studio equipment (eg. Microphones, Mixers, Amplifiers, Speakers, CD/DVD recorder/players, etc)
Requirements:
- Minimum a Diploma in Film and Media Studies, Diploma in Audio-Visual Engineering
- At least one year of relevant experiences in a lab / school environment will be an added advantage
- Able to handle videography and photography for school level events
- Able to handle post editing using commercial software for school level event is a plus
- Positive attitude with ability to multi-task and maintain a team work spirit
- PC Literate in Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate with all levels of people
- Must be both service and client oriented
- Good communication skills
