1. Get an Early Start to Applied Learning

Our curriculum focuses on applied learning, which is specially designed to connect the dots between classroom concepts to the real-world context. By doing so, it promotes more enduring understanding of content and better mastery of academic subjects.

Students in SST will undergo a four-year programme and sit for their ‘O’ Level Examinations when they are in Secondary Four. They will be able to select from a variety of ‘O’ Level Applied Subjects, such as Media Studies (English Language), Biotechnology and Fundamentals of Electronics. These are in addition to the usual Language, Mathematics, Science and Humanities subjects that the students will be taking for the GCE ‘O’ Level Examinations.

The combination of a sturdy academic foundation with practical applied learning skills ensures that our students will be well prepared for the ‘O’ Levels and more importantly, the university.

Singapore’s premier tertiary institutions, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), are lending their expertise in curriculum development, facilities design and enrichment programmes to develop SST into a top-notch specialized independent school.
